【 Summary 】

MITSUBISHI ESTATE CO., LTD. is a general real estate company that develops and manages offices and commercial facilities, etc. With a department dedicated to promoting DX, it was only natural for the company to computerize its contracting operations.
In recent years, the use of electronic contracting has been spreading, and the company considered that introducing an electronic contracting service would not only improve operational efficiency and reduce costs but would also be effective in terms of eliminating the need to come to work just to process contracts, enabling business continuity even in a telework environment, as well as in terms of work style reform and BCP (Business Continuity Plan) measures, and the company began considering its introduction.
When introducing the system, we had several requirements, including the need to prevent documents from being viewed by other departments, the need for a function to limit signatories to specific individuals, compliance with the Electronic Bookkeeping Law, etc. “CloudSign” met all of these requirements. In addition, we decided to implement Cloudsign because of its high market share and recognition in Japan, intuitive and easy-to-use interface, and support system.
After the service was introduced, teleworking support was accomplished without any problems, and cost savings were realized as stamp and mailing costs were eliminated. The number of documents mailed outside the company and internal mail has also been reduced by the use of electronic contracts, which has also cut down on clerical work. In the year since April 2021, several thousand contracts have been concluded electronically.
